Privacy Policy of the educational game “DEGRADATOR”

  1. General provisions
    • For the purposes of this Policy, the definitions and abbreviations applicable in the T&C of the DEGRADATOR educational game have been adopted.
    • IIMCB respects the right to privacy of the User using the Application and declares that it makes every effort not to collect any data except that necessary for the proper functioning of the Application.
    • Users’ personal data is not collected when using the Application. In particular, personal data relating to children is not collected or processed. When the User uses the Application, certain information about him/her is saved as part of local storage technology, as described in section 4 below.
    • IIMCB may process the User’s personal data if the User voluntarily provides personal data to IIMCB, e.g. during contact to obtain information regarding the Application. Using the Application does not require providing personal data.
    • The application does not process sensitive data.
  1. Data controller
    • The controller of the Application Users’ personal data is IIMCB. Providing the User’s personal data is voluntary. Data protection is carried out in accordance with the requirements of generally applicable law, and is stored on secured servers. The legal basis for data collection is art. 6 section 1 letter a) and b) of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Regulation on data protection) (Journal of Laws EU L. of 2016, No. 119, page 1, as amended), hereinafter referred to as GDPR .
    • IIMCB may also engage other entities to process data. Information about other processors should be specified and made available in the Privacy Policy.
    • All personal data provided by the User are treated as confidential and are not visible to unauthorized persons, including other Users.
    • IIMCB stores copies of the User’s personal data in a form allowing identification only for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes indicated in this Policy, unless the provisions of generally applicable law require a longer period of storage of personal data. IIMCB may store the User’s personal data for the entire period necessary to establish, exercise or defend claims.
    • Personal data may be deleted as a result of withdrawal of consent to the processing of personal data.
    • IIMCB does not plan to transfer data outside the European Union. If IIMCB decides to transfer data to a third country or to an international organization, the information will be specified accordingly in the Privacy Policy of the educational game “DEGRADATOR”.

  1. Rights of the data subject
    • If the User voluntarily provides IIMCB with his/her personal data, in connection with the processing of his/her personal data, he/she will have the rights arising from the provisions of the GDPR to:
      • confirmation whether a given person’s personal data is being processed and the right to access information about them,
      • obtain a copy of personal data being processed,
      • rectify your personal data if it is incorrect and the right to request that incomplete data be completed,
      • erasure of personal data,
      • restricting the scope of personal data processing,
      • transmit personal data to another controller.
      • withdraw consent at any time. However, this will not affect the legality of the processing of personal data that was processed on the basis of consent before its withdrawal.
      • obtain information about the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.
  1. Using local storage technology
    • When providing the Application, IIMCB uses local storage technology.
    • The local storage technology on the User’s device that is used to access the Application stores information on how the Application is used, including the User’s level of the game and choice of game language.
    • Information saved in local storage is not sent automatically from the User’s end device to any server.
  1. A game for the operating system of the device on which it is installed (Android) can use the following permissions:
    • Memory – due to this permission, the application can save data in the device’s memory, making it possible to use many functionalities offline.
    • Full network access – in most cases required to update data and display parts of the data while browsing, online.
  1. IIMCB reserves the right to change the content of this Privacy Policy for the educational game “DEGRADATOR”. IIMCB will inform Users about the change made by making the consolidated text of the document available on the mobile application and on the website https://degradator-gra.pl/.
